Friday Feature - CrochetHooked (Cari) - HAF

Ladies and gentlemen, for today's Friday feature I would like to introduce to you, Cari aka CrochetHooked from Handmade Artists Shop. New Items in HAF Shop

I have had a very productive few days recently and I am proud to say that I actually got 10 new items put into my shop at Handmade Artists. So without dragging this out...let me just show you what went in the shop today.

Purple and Red Shamballa Bracelet

Shamballa Bracelets are a popular and stunning pieces of handcrafted jewelry. They are created using a sequence of knots and braids that incorporate gemstones, wood, metal, etc that have spiritual and healing meanings.

The colors of the cord and beads used are associated with the 7 main Chakras or energy wheels which draw energy from around us.

This particular bracelet incorporates the colors of Purple and Red.

The RED bead is linked to the emotion of passion and sexuality; The feeling of security, grounding, stability and support.

The PURPLE of the cord used is associated with bliss and spirituality. It is said to promote all knowingness, inspirations, wisdom, and an awareness of your higher self.

This beautiful bracelet will fit a 7 to 7 1/2 inch wrist.

This bracelet is made with a selection of  beautiful coral colored glass beads in different shapes and sizes.

Now that is all of the jewelry that I added today. I actually added a new category to my shop today as well. I have been making soap and bath soaks for quite some time but have never added any of the bath products to my shop....until today. Check these out.

So here are two of them that I have crocheted up so far.

Friday Feature - Rasmussen Gems (Dr. John) - HAF

Now isn't that pendant just an absolute treasure to view? I am so in love with it! The bold colors, the shiny sterling silver...oh my!!! It is exquisite! OK...enough of my drooling over this lovely pendant.

Today I am featuring Rasmussen Gems from Handmade Artists. You want pendants....there are plenty of gorgeous ones from which to choose. You want rings....he has plenty of those as well. Or is it bracelets? well there are plenty of gorgeous choices in that area as well. Do you get the picture yet....what ever your heart may desire....Rasmussen Gems just may have the answer to your question. 

Rasmussen Gems is a collaborative effort of Dr. John Atwell Rasmussen and his wife Debora. Dr. John does the lapidary pieces and his wife Debora handles the beaded projects. All of which is beautiful!

Todays featured artist is Kris of Lisianblue. She has a shop located over on Handmade Artists and she has some of the cutest crocheted items.

Kris' says that she enjoys many things such as painting, knitting, sewing, crocheting, drawing, and photography. Her grandmother taught her knit and crochet when she was 8 years old. Check out Kris' shop....if you don't see something in the color you want...Kris will do custom orders....just ask!

Friday Feature - Nancy's Wild Wire Art - HAF

Today's Friday Feature is Nancy of Nancy's Wild Wire Art. She has been featured here on my blog once before and you can find that blog post HERE.

Nancy's ability to use wire in her handmade artist jewelry is just so fantastic. I love every piece that I seen. Her pieces are so fresh and unique. She states in her profile that all of her pieces are conceived in her dreams and are as unique as each individual.

What you may not know about Nancy is that she isn't just a jewelry artist....she also does paintings. Yes...I mean with canvasses and that sort of liquid colored stuff called PAINT. Let me tell you....her art is beautiful. But don't just take my word for it. You can see for yourself. Take a look at this fish painting she has posted in her HAF Shop.

Isn't this painting just gorgeous.  I just love the whimsical look of her fish in the painting. Don't you?

Now....we move on to another style of painting that she does.....in this painting and many others like it...she recycles old jeans as her painting medium.

This so cool to me that she would re-use something such as old blue jeans to paint her pictures on. I am just amazed at her creativity. BTW....this painting is just one in this series. There are a total of 7. If you visit her HAF Shop you can see the rest.

Today we are featuring a mother-daughter artisan team known as Yankee Burrow Creations. Debbi (the Mom) & Amanda (the daughter) make up this fabulous team that hand-makes cool items for the home, as well as gorgeous jewelry and fashion items.

I'm going to show you a few of the items that you will find in their shops...yes I said SHOPS...because they have 3. You can find Yankee Burrow Creations here at their Handmade Artists Shop. Friday Feature - Larissa from Fabric of my Mind - HAF

Today I am proud to feature a friend that I met at the Handmade Artists Forum. Her name is Larissa and she is one talented lady. She actually has two shops at Handmade Artists...one is called Reef Botanicals and this shop is the one where you will find all of the candles and other bath and body extravagances that are made by her and her husband, Eric. Today, though, I will be featuring her other shop called FABRIC OF MY MIND.
